Of religion

Due to public demand/pressure, there will be posts published also in English. So- wecome to the new reades;)

Yesterday quite curious thing happened to me: I was sitting with one of my collegues at work, and he started to talk about religion, what happens after death and how they (hindis) believe in reincarnation. He then asked what we/I believed happened after death. I said that Christians usually believe their souls go to heaven. He found this idea absolutely ridiculous! And I, though not being a proper Christian or anything, found myself defending Christianity, even heaven. I can understand why he did not understand how people go to heaven. I don't understand either how people reincarnate. I mean really understand. For the first time in my life I actually had to defend 'my religion' against someone else's...
I felt like saying also, that idea of reincarnation is crap...or at least questioning its plausibility, but didn't... no need for another war.

I was a christian, but really the reincarnation business sounds more logical I think than a beach party up in the clouds

True. True. Yet - the first reation of mine was still to defend heaven. Even though I'm not sure I'd go there, or even want to go for that matter:)
